The list below was updated on June 28.
Our friends at Solanco Neighborhood Ministries continue to care for people in our community with weekend food supplies (SWEEP) and emergency food bags. Read this from Teresa Dolan, SNM’s executive director:
“I hope this message finds you healthy and well! While we have money to purchase food items, the stores cannot always accommodate the number and variety of items we need. So, we are relying more heavily on donations from the community. My hope is that in a few weeks, the panic will subside and the stores can sufficiently restock, so ordering can resume as usual. Until then, here is a list of needs for donation.”
This month we are in need of the following items:
- Juice boxes
- Applesauce, fruit and pudding cups
- Boxed oatmeal
- Rice-a-roni (chicken)
- Pasta roni
- Canned chicken
- Fresh and/or boxed potatoes
Feel free to select specific items if your congregation is more comfortable with that process. Thank you for your generosity at this most difficult time.
Donations can be dropped off at 355 Buck Road, Quarryville between 9am-4pm, Mon-Fri. THANK YOU!
